Found this photograph in an antique store in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Purchased it because it was from Carbondale, Illinois. Carbondale was and is probably still home to much of my family. And I love finding anything historical about Carbondale and the rest of Southern Illinois. It doesn't have to be JUST my family. Maybe somebody knows who this young lad is.
According to the back of the photo he is Ada and Charles little boy, age 11 and in the 7th grade. The picture was taken in 1949. We also know that this young lad's birthday is in September. On the car in the photo we can read "Harris Sub", "601 N. B", and "Carbondale".
