Mrs. Alice Hunsaker
Found this lady at a Benton, Illinois antique store. Alice Hunsaker. I know there are a lot of Hunsaker's all over Southern Illinois. I could even be related way back when.
It's possible. It's been a while since I've done much genealogy but both my father and mother's side of the family is from Southern Illinois. And from my research I've learned they've been there for a long long time. At least since the 1830's. And they married into other families that have also been there a long time. I always kid around and say everyone there is related. But I think that is common for many small towns and small communities. I see that here in Southeast Missouri (where my husband is from). Plus I believe there is a lot of being related between Southern Illinois and Southeast Missouri too.
I have family from southern Illinois too. I have to look on the map to see where that is! Maybe you and I are related!!
